We are pleased to announce the launch of the European project Labour Market Information for VET (LMI4VET), a project that PROSPEKTIKER leads and collaborates with together with 9 other partners from the Basque Country (Sartu), Germany (IWAK and LAG Hessen), Italy (Unimib and Piazza dei Mestieri), Luxembourg (Liser and Digital Inclusion) and Romania (WUT and GAL Fridorf). In this project, each country has a knowledge partner and a social agent partner (third sector employment and training provider). This Erasmus+ project aims to provide the social partners in the VET ecosystem with guidelines and training on how to use labour market information to better plan their provision of lifelong learning to people with fewer opportunities.
With the implementation of this project, we will be able to: 1) improve the employability of vulnerable people, 2) better adapt VET curricula to the needs of the labour market, and 3) improve the information of the VET system that understands the challenges of economic cycles.
First, we will analyse labour market intelligence tools developed in the framework of EU projects or platforms and explore how the VET system can use them. We will jointly develop a methodological guide with the social partners after conducting surveys of our target group. Next, we will design the training content of our online course and a chatbot will be implemented.
All resources developed during the life of the project will be multilingual (Spanish, English, Romanian, French and German) and will be stored on the project website.
